James Cook University GP Training - GP Notifier App Released

The GP Notifier App has been released on 21st of January 2019, for James Cook University (JCU) GP Training. The mobile app is release both on the iOS and Android platforms and available to download for free by JCU’s users. Within two weeks of release, more than 100 users have installed the app on their mobile devices. The main purpose of the mobile app is to notify registrars and various other users with important news updates and training activities by JCU.

The project requirements were discussed with JAM Web Team last year in November 2018 by JCU. The major challenge is to make this mobile app in a very short span of time. It was required to be available on the App Store and Google Play in January for the new registrar enrollments. The initial mockups and proposal are presented to provide a clear picture of how the app will look like with its admin interface. The app is user-friendly and very easy to use.

JAM had delivered the project on time despite the fact of Christmas holidays off period. The project was within the timeframe and well under budget. There were three team members involved in this project who have done a great job. The admin interface uses the H.Prime 2 framework in this project provides security, responsive design and ability to integrate with any system in future.
